Here's a short clip with Sam Kressin and L2 Certified Catch Wrestler Ricky Lazaro: Asst. Coach Jesse Marez just took 1st Place in the Los Angeles International Jiu-Jitsu Tournament in his division! This is the second tournament this year that he has taken gold and dominated the competition. This year Jesse has earned six golds, one silver and 2 bronze. Here's a note he recent sent us: "Dear Jake and Billy, Last weekend I won the Los Angeles International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu championships. It was truly international: In my first match I beat someone from who flew in from Okinawa with a Double Wrist Lock. I set it up and finished it exactly the way Billy taught me! Also, when all the crave is "Underhook, underhook, underhook," I used the whizzer exactly the way Billy taught me. Not once, not twice, but FOUR times I sugar footed, had the person grab my leg in a high single, I whizzered hard and completed a throw for two points. Thanks Billy! I have competed in a gi a lot and think it would be nice for more people who train in a gi to give catch wrestling matches a chance. I think the pin fall is exciting and the two out of three format is great. Sincerely, Jesse Marez" Also, Billy and I have been invited to tour the birth-place of catch-as-catch-can, the United Kingdom! We will spend 10 days going about doing seminars and making appearances! Thanks to all the new fans from by best-selling book 'SAY UNCLE'!!! The response has been overwhelming and I can confidently tell you, "You haven't seen anything yet!"
