Fans of my work as a "Catch Wrestling Revolutionary" know how much blood, sweat, and tears all of us involved with Scientific Wrestling have put into getting legit, sourced catch-as-catch-can wrestling back on the map (and most importantly ON THE MAT) again.
We will always have been the first to hold CACC rule tournaments in the modern age, to have toured giving seminars and training camps with top-of-the-food-chain athletes (both coaching and learning), to have provided quality education supplements like our books, DVDs, and training tools like the Macebell , etc. We've encouraged and supported the other incredible catch wrestling organizations that have followed our lead and are continuing and expanding the passion for CACC worldwide! However none of this would have been possible without YOU supporting our efforts so I want to send you a very sincere THANK YOU.
We've got two training camps left this year, one in England and the other here in the United States. As he has since 2007, Billy Robinson will be overseeing the training. Check out this great highlight reel of Billy that a fan complied:
Imagine being the last of the catch-as-catch-can wrestlers to train in Wigan with men like Karl Gotch and Billy Joyce, to have had a hand in training legends from Ric Flair to Kazushi Sakuraba, to have had elite success as a competitor, entertainer, and coach, all while being the star of a movie ('The Wrestler' co-starring Ed Asner) and inspiration for the Japanese comic book character
Robin Mask. You'd be imagining that you were
Billy Robinson...
For those that want to join the ranks of the
Catch Wrestling Revolutionaries at <1>Scientific Wrestling, we are holding two international training camps this fall, one in the birthplace of CACC, England, and the other here in the home of CACC, the United States. We will also be having seminars in Italy too. If you are interested in attending our UK trainings, please follow this link and inquire with Andy (hurry though as I actually don't know if there are any remaining spaces left). If you are interested in our camp this fall in beautiful Salt Lake City, Utah then
please register here. Here is information about Billy's appearances in Europe:
As for our athletes and coaches, Certified Catch Wrestler Gillian Silver (L1) and her coaching team Garry Davis (L2) and Mickey Hall (L2) at Brazen Martial Arts continue racking up the wins and repping CACC in the 21st Century. Here is Gillian's match on 8/3/13 at NAGA, Wildwood NJ:
