Special thanks to Torque Athletic, BudoVideos.com, Jesse Marez & the good people at The Training Mat, and Sports Graphic Number Magazine* from Japan! *Sports Graphic Number Magazine is the Japanese equivalent of Sports Illustrated here in the States. How is it that zero American media covered this historic American martial art event (not even the So-Cal based magazines, unreal!) but one of the largest Japanese sports magazines came to Los Angeles and covered the inaugural King of Catch Wrestling Tournament Western Qualifier. They actually interviewed me for over 4 hours the next day!

2. Macebell Seminar - East & West Coast December 15th!
This is the absolute last chance to sign up. Registration will close on December 2nd (that's just 10 days), otherwise we will not have enough Macebells shipped to our seminar locations (Glen Burnie, Maryland and San Juan Capistrano, California) for everyone to use!

3. How to get the ENTIRE Scientific Wrestling Library for just $87!!!
The Sport of Catch Wrestling
Would you be interested in all of the Scientific Wrestling books in Ebook form (as a PDF file)? The package includes:

- The Authoritative Encyclopedia of Scientific Wrestling, ALL FOUR VOLUMES
- The Classical Pugilism and Bare-Knuckle Boxing Companion, BOTH FULL VOLUMES

- The Sport of Catch Wrestling: The Certified Catch Wrestler Handbook

- The Handbook of Authentic Indian Club Swinging
- An Introduction to Vintage Jiu-Jitsu

This is well over 3,050 pages of the best material on Western martial arts around and I am thinking of selling it for only $87 (if you were to buy them in book form "a la carte" it would cost like $370 PLUS shipping and handling. This way you will save over $280!!!). It has cost me over $10,000 and taken YEARS to collect the original antique vintage tomes and now you can get the priceless wisdom contain within for just 87 bucks! Anyway as I mentioned to the members at ScientificWrestling.com, I am a bit on the fence about doing this (because of what I've gone through in the past with piracy and theft already) but I will keep them all here for $87 for the next 4 days ONLY (then the price goes up to $127). This is my way of giving a sincere thank you to everyone that has helped us achieve what we have so far!

4. This week at UWF-Bushido.com: Back at the Dome in Tokyo for more action:
Ohe & Chowaikung vs. Lovato & Calleros (MUAY THAI TAG TEAM FIGHT!)

Mark Silver vs. Tom Burton

MAIN EVENT: Yoshihiro Takayama vs. Hiromitsu Kanehara

6. Digital Macebell Strength Coaching I am testing the waters with offering personalized Macebell program design and digital strength and conditioning coaching (for those that cannot make it to the O.C. Toe-Hold Club or CrossFit Beach Cities) but I am not sure if I want to devote myself to it. Email me at [email protected] if you are interested. The way it works is like this, we meet in person at least once to kick things off. If that is not possible then we'd substitute the face-2-face with a one-on-one phone meeting (this is not unlike how a many graduate level distance learning university programs operate. A mandatory residency requirement on campus at the beginning and end of the course... everything else is done online.) Upon choosing your program and receipt of payment, I email you a profile questionnaire so I can get everything I need to get started on your program. After talking to you about your strengths, weaknesses, available resources (and a few other things) I will email you a detailed spreadsheet with a customized program. You return the custom spreadsheet at the end of the week after adding your times, accomplishments, and commentary. We then follow up with a weekly phone call that helps me to prepare the next week's program. We will leverage use of YouTube and other technologies where possible to make the very most of our time together. A 12-week program would cost approximately $250. Just to put your mind at ease, here are some testimonials from folks that I've trained: "Jake, you are a brilliant phenomenon and an energized revolutionary."
-Elli Hollands

"Jake's class is one of a kind. He's a terrific and very knowledgeable coach whose tough encouragement style works! I come away more confident every time."
-Lori Dietzman

"I found Jake Shannon by chance online. He worked out a conditioning program for me that resulted in huge physical gains and a loss of 15 pounds in just an 8 week period. My waist dropped from 35 inches to 33 inches and I have more energy than before!"
-Ryan Hanlon
Tarzana
"When I started with Jake I noticed that I was terribly out of shape. Three weeks later, I am now 20 pounds lighter and getting stronger by the day. I had to buy a new belt, and soon, new pants! Do Jake Shannon's fitness program! It is a proven winner. I know...I am the proof!"
-Damien Salazar

"Jake rules! not with an iron fist but with the kind of encouragement that inspired me to get into shape... My favorite moment of bootcamp (so far): doing squats on the beach and being greeted by dophins! so long boring gym... hello to being the best shape of my life!"
