"Since attending the East Coast Macebell Seminar in December, I have been working three days per week with the 10K Macebell. Although I am still working on perfecting the exercises I have to admit, this is one kickass piece of equipment. At first it was intimidating but once I got the basic mechanics down, I look forward to these workouts.

Now, I have bad shoulders (with limited motion on my left) and have had three operations on the left and one on the right. I was told by my orthopedic specialist that I will need a left shoulder replacement within 5-10 years (he told me this 2 years ago). So, I was a bit concerned that the Macebell may cause more damage than good. However, since beginning a program and including the Macebell into my workouts I have actually gained mobility and strength over what I had prior to using them. This is good news for me as I was told my mobility would never improve without the joint replacement.

The workouts can be a total body workout depending on what exercises you choose, but the main focus is on your core, shoulder girdle and forearms. If you want to improve your grip strength, this is a great tool and will leave your forearms fried. The Macebell has a real thick handle as well which only adds to the grip workout.
